1971 Nissan Skyline GT-R

The Nissan Skyline GT-R C10 was named the "Hakosuka" in Japan. Suka is an abbreviation of the Skyline name, Hako means Box. Refering to its boxy styling, This C10 Coupe was 70mm shorter than the 4 door version and went on to great things in domestic and international racing. 

It's high revving 2 liter twin-cam straight six engine on triple twin choke carburetors produced 160 hp, Which for a road car at that time was nothing short or miraculous. It gained a huge following at home and abroad. These cars are very collectable now and (like a lot of very desirable cars) which are "recreated") it is said that out of the original 1197 cars made in period, only about 2500 still exist!

These cars, like many homologation specials only came in three colors. Silver, White and the rarer paint code 905 Red.
